Our Mission

At JoyHouse Daycare, we believe that every child deserves to be taught with love and care. We understand that early childhood is a critical period for a child's emotional, social and cognitive development. Therefore, our team's priority is to create a positive, safe, nurturing, clean, environment for each child's first early childhood learning and life milestone.

Our Approach

We are a licensed home daycare, operating since 2003 caring for babies from age 6 weeks, toddlers, preschool age, and children up to 12 years old. Our approach begins with recognizing how each child is unique and requires individualized attention and support. Therefore, our team is trained to approach each child with empathy and respect, creating trust and a strong bond with them. We believe that when a child feels loved, respected and trusted, they feel secure and confident, which is ideal to their first exposure to learning.

Our daily activities focus on incorporating an interactive approach to learning, where children learn through play, exploration and discovery. We have structured specific age group curriculum to include indoor/outdoor activities that foster creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, imagination and social skills. We strongly believe that through such activities and interactions, children develop essential skills necessary for their development.

Our Activities

We also prioritize open communication with parents, updating them about their child's progress, challenges, and triumphs. We aim to create a strong partnership with parents to ensure that we can work together and provide the best care and support for their child's needs. We send daily pictures, updates, and reminders from our text line.

At our daycare the meals* we serve are made fresh- in house, daily with organic ingredients. (We serve breakfast and lunch)

Please ask for our menu during your tour, we modify texture based on age/readiness. In addition to snacks/special event day foods based on age/readiness/specific dietary restrictions. *We do not serve: Peanut products, canned, preprepared/frozen foods, yogurts, artificial sugar juices.
